Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

By booking a course with On Target Training, you agree to pay a non-refundable deposit of $100 at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of your course.

Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or EFTPOS. We do not accept cash for online bookings.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Student Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the course: Full deposit refund available
  • Cancellations made 3-7 days before the course: Deposit may be transferred to another date
  • Cancellations made less than 3 days before the course: Deposit is forfeited
  • No-shows: Deposit is forfeited

Our Cancellations

If we need to cancel a course due to insufficient numbers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.

3. Course Requirements

To participate in a course, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide valid photo identification (driver's licence or passport)
  • Have a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor

4. Safety and Conduct

Firearms safety is our top priority. Students who do not follow safety instructions or who behave in an unsafe manner may be asked to leave the course without refund.

All firearms and ammunition used during the course remain the property of On Target Training or the range facility.

5. Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate is valid for 12 months for the purpose of applying for a Queensland firearms licence.

Completion of the course does not guarantee approval of a firearms licence application. Licence approval is at the discretion of Queensland Weapons Licensing.

6. Liability

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure safety, participation in firearms training involves inherent risks. By booking a course, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, On Target Training's liability is limited to the amount paid for the course.

7. Privacy

We collect personal information as required for training delivery and compliance with RTO requirements. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
